The first-ever Victoria College Counselor's Student and Faculty Wellness Presentation will be offered in two sessions this month. The presentation will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on VC's main campus in the Health Sciences Center, Room 130, and again at noon Sept. 25 in the Johnson Symposium.

Victoria College will conduct a test of its emergency alert system at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Joachim Reinhuber, a pianist from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, will open the Victoria College 2013-14 Guest and Faculty Recital Series on Sept. 17.

Victoria College's Core Curriculum: Introductory Craft Skills class will be from 6-10 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, July 22-Aug 14, in the College Services & Training Building, Room 104A.

Victoria College will host a Nursing Field Day from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 14 in the Health Sciences Center Room 130. The Nursing Field Day will spotlight nursing pathways that any student could take and the careers that could follow.

Some 259 Victoria College students will walk across the stage as new graduates during the Spring 2013 VC Commencement Ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday in the VISD Fine Arts Center.

Victoria College's third annual Concert in the Quad won't be in the quad this year. The college's music event will be held in the outdoor amphitheater area outside the VC Fine Arts Building.

Victoria College will host a free college night tonight from 6pm to 8pm at the Victoria College Sports Center to give students a change to explore the next level of their education.

The 18th Annual Victoria College Halloween Carnival is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Victoria College Student Center, 2200 E. Red River St. The annual carnival is organized by the Victoria College Student Activities Office. It is free and open to the public.
