Some 259 Victoria College students will walk across the stage as new graduates during the Spring 2013 VC Commencement Ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday in the VISD Fine Arts Center. VC chemistry professor Ron Reese will give the commencement address and Chelsey Cinadr will be the student speaker at the 88th annual commencement, says the Victoria Advocate. Pat Vandervoort, Victoria College vice president of instruction, and Dr. Ruth Constant, Victoria College Foundation president, will present the Distinguished Teaching Award. Catherine McHaney, a member of the Victoria College Board of Trustees, and Missy Klimitchek, Victoria College registrar, will award the diplomas.

The event is free and open to the public. However, seating is limited. Tickets will be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
