Everyone has their own thing to help them cope during these times of isolation when we are doing our best to slow the spread. I just want to say that watching Luka Doncic play basketball is definitely one of the go-to things that always makes me feel better during all this craziness. Even though the league will never really give Luka the credit he deserves, he is by far the best player in the NBA for the 3rd year now. Yes, I said it. LOL. It's cool if you don't agree, we all have our own favs.

Let's talk about Dallas Head Coach Rick Carlisle's reaction to the Capital Riots on Wednesday real quick. Coach took to Zoom a few hours before the Nuggets game against Denver and told DallasNews.com that “It was shocking, It’s another example of, really, a hideous centuries-old double standard that has hit all of us very hard.”

The Mavericks had a very nervous flight to Denver as the riots only just got underway when the team had to board the plane. They were left to fly to Denver with frightening images of what was underway, and tons of unanswered questions about what was really happening on the ground. When they landed in Denver they discussed the idea to take a knee and offer a moment of silence with the Nuggets coaches and players before their game the following night. The two teams recognized the moment together in the video at the top of the page.
