Dallas Maverick owner and star of the hit TV Show 'Shark Tank' Mark Cuban has just purchased a town to 'help' out a friend.   The owner of the city of Mustang is Marty Price got sick back in 2017 and listed the town on the market for $4 million dollars. No takers! He then lowered the price to $2 million dollars per Mike Turner, president of Dallas Real Estate Frim, J Elmer, as reported by The Dallas Morning News.

The town of Mustang is located about 55 miles south of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and has a kind of dark history.  Back in 2008, there was a killing at a strip club that used to be located in Mustang so conveniently called the Mustang Lounge.  The latest census shows the population of Mustang at 23 people. As of 2019, no one lives there.   Cuban bought the town as a favor to a friend. The town currently has no government and zoning. So Mark Cuban pretty much has a blank canvas to do what he wants with his new town.  Has anyone actually heard of this town?

Marty Price is the man selling the town and was a huge Dallas Mavericks fan. In fact, he was a faithful season ticket holder that had floor seats.  Mark Cuban is currently worth 4.5 BILLION DOLLARS, according to Forbes. Cuban has humble beginnings, as he sold stamps door-to-door as a kid and gave disco lessons to help pay his way through Indiana University.
