It's a special time for Dallas Mavericks fans and nobody is sure how long it will last.

Luka Doncic is a joy to watch. He's hands down one of the most entertaining players to put on an NBA uniform. As a kid who grew up in Chicago during the golden days of the Chicago Bulls, I get the same feeling watching Luka play as I did while watching MJ.

Have you even seen this buzzer-beater yet? Check out the video up top or below to see Luka Doncic drain an off-balanced, one-handed buzzer-beater to finish off the Memphis Grizzlies as time expired in the 4th quarter last night.

Luka finished the night with 29 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and a blocked shot. Not a bad night's work. Dallas fans know the team is just one player away from being a wrecking crew. Luka needs to find a Pippen the same way MJ did. If Dallas had one other guy playing at Luka's level, they would sit much higher in the Western Conference. They have a great team, but they are missing one other clutch shooter in this fan's humble opinion.

Another exciting part of Luka's game is the amount of Triple Doubles the young man gathers each season. Even more amazing is the number of games when Luka has missed a Triple-Double by 1 rebound or 1 assist. I can't tell you what a killer the box score is to see when he has 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Somebody tell us how many times this season alone, Luka has missed a TD by 1 rebound or 1 assist. He would have about 25 at this point. It's really fun to watch.
