Saturday CharlieMac Drink Specials

As time passes, we are reaching the goal of Fall weather and finally getting away from Summer heat. However, we may have to wait a bit until it cools down to what I consider acceptable temperatures (like 80 degrees in the afternoon). At least we have the means to cool off several ways including drink mixing. So take note, gather the ingredients, and let us commence the drink mixing...for the purpose of cooling off of course...

Apple Pie Whiskey (original source)
Ingredients:
1 oz Cinnamon Whiskey
1 oz Vanilla Vodka
4 oz Apple Cider
Garnish – Cinnamon Sticks
How To:
In a shaker with ice, combine the ingredients (minus the garnish) and shake well then strain into a glass and garnish with the cinnamon sticks. Simple. Easy. Tasty.

Snickerdoodle Shot (original source)
Ingredients:
1½  oz RumChata
1½  oz Fireball
Garnish – Whipped Cream, Cinnamon Powder
How To:
In a shot glass, add the RumChata and the Fireball and then top off with whipped cream and sprinkle on some cinnamon. Then…Down the Hatch!

Rainy Day Marley (original source #2)
Ingredients:
1½ oz Vodka
1½ oz Triple Sec
1½ oz Malibu Coconut Rum
4-6 oz Orange Juice (Enough to Top Off Glass)
How To:
Combine the ingredients (minus the orange juice) into a tall glass with ice and stir, then top it off with the orange juice.

Dirty Laundry (original source)
Ingredients:
1½ oz Gin
½ oz Triple Sec
1½ Lemonade
2 Basil Leaves
½ oz Orange Juice
Rim – Sugar
Garnish – Basil Leaf, Orange Slice
How To:
Use the orange slice to wet the rim of the glass and dip it in sugar. In a shaker with ice, combine the gin, triple sec, lemonade and basil leaf and shake well. Then strain into the sugar-rimmed glass and garnish with a basil leaf and orange slice.
