Calhoun County to Honor Veterans

The Port Lavaca community will have a Veterans Day Parade at 10 a.m. Saturday. The parade, hosted by the American Legion, the American G.I. Forum and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, will begin at Sandcrab Stadium, travel down Virginia Street and end at the bayfront. Following the parade, according to the Victoria Advocate, veterans and their families will be invited to lunch at the G.I. Forum.
