Spurs Impose Will in Defensive Showdown

Well this game definitely lived up to the hype as the 2nd meeting of the year goes to the Spurs.  The season series is tied 1-1 with two huge meetings left for this year.  The normally high octane offense of the Warriors, which usually scores around 115 was held to a season low 79.  The high-scoring duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, combined to shoot 11 of 38 and 2 for 19 from 3. Curry finished the game with 14 points (FG: 4-18, 3PT: 1-12) and Thompson scored 15 points (FG: 7-20, 3PT: 1-7).  I guess Steph can have an off night.  The Warriors defensive showing was pretty good too, they held the Spurs to only 87 points behind Aldridge 26 points and 13 rebounds, on this night it was enough for my Spurs.  This is the start of some high drama for the last 14 games.
