Prayers are needed for another Houston family as their child struggles to survive a stray bullet shooting.

Just last week I wrote about a Houston family traveling to the grocery store by car when a truck seemingly got impatient with their slow driving and began firing shots into the family vehicle striking their nine-year olf daughter in the head.

This morning we learned that in Houston late last night a stray bullet from a self-defense shooting gone wrong has hit another innocent nine-year-old.

The little girl was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital and remains in critical condition.

In last week's article, we were committed to keeping you updated and have learned that Houston police are now offering a $30,000.00 reward for more information on the road rage shooting that left 9-year-old Ashanti Grant in critical condition. According to the updates, the swelling in her brain is continuing to improve but it's still unclear how the shooting will affect her long term. Again we will update you as we wait for word on how the little girl from last night's stray bullet shooting is doing.

Here is what Houston police are reporting on the shooting as this time on Twitter.

Chief Matt Slinkard asks that we lift the little girl in our prayers.
