The road to Bootfest will kick off on Friday (Aug. 10) with the first of two concerts at Two Step Dance Hall & Lounge, 4106 Houston Highway.  The concert series, dubbed “Two Steps to Bootfest,” will feature two local bands who will perform during Bootfest. The series begins Friday night with Clay Crockett and the Shotgun Riders.

The second “step” is scheduled for Sept. 14 with the Scott Taylor Band. Tickets for each
show are only $6 at the door, which opens at 8 p.m.  In addition to the public concerts, both events will feature VIP parties for Bootfest sponsors and
special guests in Two Step’s upstairs lounge.

Bootfest is a weekend long festival of family fun Oct. 5 and 6 in historic DeLeon Plaza in
Downtown Victoria. The weekend will include free concerts by No Justice, Stoney LaRue, Black
Dutch Siux, Bart Crow and Easton Corbin. Other attractions include boot artisans, a kid’s corral
and a washer tournament.  For more information on Bootfest, visit or call the CVB at 361-485-3116.
