Nurses Week Hero: Laura McClendon

We've teamed up with Brannan Paving Company, Biomat USA- a Grifols Company, and 1st Community Bank to show area nurses some extra recognition through all of Nurses Week.  Today we recognize Laura McClendon from 5 South at Citizens Medical Center.

Here is what Chance had to say about Laura:

"Laura is a very caring individual, and behind every good nurse is a good CNA. In 2016 Laura did 26 weeks of chemotherapy for breast cancer followed by 6 weeks of radiation and still worked and cared for hospice patients at her previous job. Today she cares for her patients at the hospital, and when off delivers meals for meals on wheels. She is a very caring and loving person to everyone she cares for and treats them how she would want her loved ones treated."
