Hometown Hero- We Salute James Howell

On behalf of Post Acute Medical and Townsquare Media, along with KIXS 108, we want to say thank you to James Howell who is retired Army.

James who works at Oil Patch Petroleum served in the United States Army, PFC, in the 1980s.

During his time off as a petroleum delivery driver, James enjoys being a handyman.

According to his granddaughter, Bianca, James likes to build big projects like patios.

"He also loves animals and has his 'own little farm' going on with pigs and chickens," she smiles. "He also loves to garden." She adds, " He is a character that is for sure! He can put a smile on anyone's face. He has a really good heart."

Bianca adds that he recently built a swing set for his great granddaughters, Abigail, Pamela and Jordyn.

His wife, Maria Howell, who nominated his as a HOMETOWN HERO offers, "He is a wonderful husband and father and works hard for us. He helps anybody in need. "

She wants to send James a personal message as well. "Thank you for your service we love you."
