Wa…Wha?

I was looking at my "old" MySpace profile (who does that anymore?!), when I came across a photo I had taken some years back when we were living in Jonesboro, Arkansas. A brand-new Waffle House was being built, and it was getting close to being completed. The sign company contracted put up the signage was in the process of putting the diner's famous name up on the sides of the roof.

Now, to this day, I don't know if this was done on purpose, or they just needed to get the letters up there, and the order didn't matter at this point,. All I know is, when I drove by and saw this, I couldn't stop laughing for nearly 30 minutes! I promise you, this is a photo that I took, and it has not been altered in any way!

So the next time you've got a hankerin' for some scattered/smothered/covered/chopped/chunked hash browns, look for the Wa Houfflese nearest you. And tell 'em Skeeter sent you!

(FYI--the sign was fixed before they opened the diner!)
