“Turkeyfest” Starts Thursday

The Cuero "Turkeyfest" begins Thursday. Here is the short list of activities; Parade and Turkey Trot  are held downtown Cuero other events are located at the  Cuero Municipal Park  Arts and crafts market, good and commercial vending, Gator the Clown available Friday-Saturday.
Thursday – 6 p.m., carnival
Friday – 6 p.m., carnival; live music by Mike and the Moonpies, Jarrod Birmingham and Kevin Fowler from 6:30-10:30 p.m.
Saturday – 7 a.m., TurkeyTrot 5K; 11 a.m., Great Gobbler Gallop; 11 a.m., Turkeyfest Parade; noon, carnival, Dutch oven and camp cooking demonstration; 12:30 p.m., For the Love of Jewelry Contest; 1 p.m., Pied Piper of Percussion; 2 p.m., Turkeyfest Canoe Race; 2:30 p.m., Kids Celebration Family Game Show; 3 p.m., Pied Piper of Percussion; 4 p.m., Loop Rawlins Wild West Show; 4:30 p.m. jalapeno eating contest; 5 p.m. Pied Piper Percussion; 5:30 p.m., Two Tons of Steel; 6:15 p.m., Loop Rawlins wild West Sow; 7:30 p.m., The Texas Tornados; 9:15 p.m., JB and the Moonshine Band; 11:15 p.m., Roger Creager.
Sunday – noon, children’s parade, 12:30 p.m., turkey egg hunt; 1 p.m., Lop Rawlins Wild West Show; 1:15 p.m., children’s tractor pull; 1:30 p.m., pied Piper of Percussion, 2:30 p.m., Both Sides of the Story: Jason Boland and Cody Canada acoustic show.
