Tissues for Crossroads Teachers Helps Blow Germs Away
It's the season of giving but nobody wants to get your cold!
Teachers are notorious for spending tons of their own money on the children they teach, and one of the classroom items at the top of their list is tissues!
In fact, according to the National Education Association, teachers typically spend five hundred to a grand on school supplies not covered by their school district.
But together, we can BLOW a tissue drive for our Crossroads teachers right out of the water! I bet you thought I was going to say, nose? I couldn't bring myself to do it. The visual image is just too gross.
Thanks to Diane Escalante at State Farm Insurance you can be a friend to a Crossroads teacher and parents too because no one likes to see their kiddos getting sick at school, just by dropping off much needed tissues to Diane's State Farm Insurance office at 2508 E Mockingbird Lane now through November 30th.
The Tissues for Teachers drive reminds me of some of my favorite tissue jokes I used to tell my little kids when they were under the weather. Anything I could do to make them smile!
How Do You Make A Tissue Dance? " You put a little boogie in it"
Do you want to hear a joke about tissue? Never mind, it's 'tear-able'
Why doesn't your nose like tissue? It thinks the tissue is snotty!
Thank you to Diane for putting this tissue drive together. Parents here is your chance to help keep your kids germ free and fabulous through the holiday season!
