Spazmatics Perform For Almost 3,000 Celebrating Healthcare Heroes
Last Thursday night, the Spazmatics rocked downtown Victoria with almost 3,000 in attendance! The event was to celebrate our healthcare heroes. Not only was it a celebration of Nurses Week, Hospital Week, and EMS Week, but it was also a celebration of the 2026 Nursing graduates from Victoria College.
This event was presented by Citizens Medical Center, Detar Healthcare System, and Townsquare Media Victoria (KIXS 108, KLUB Tejano 106.9, 98.7 JACK FM, KQVT 92.3). The first 250 healthcare heroes received a free t-shirt. Elected officials from Victoria and the State of Texas kicked off the night by thanking our local healthcare heroes for all that they do.
Eighties rock vibes took over downtown Victoria.
Concertgoers came dressed in their best 80s and 90s attire that fit perfectly with the Spazmatics vibe. Our community also enjoyed visiting with healthcare heroes and mascots from local businesses, and enjoyed a 360-degree photo booth. By the end of the night, downtown Victoria was an all-out rock concert.
Victoria's street dances were huge back in the 80s and 90s.
It was great to have those street dance vibes back in downtown Victoria. It brings back awesome memories of the Thursday night street dances from the past. Check out a gallery of photos that were captured during Thursday nights street dance.
Mark your calendars for the Crossroads BBQ and Brew Music Festival.
