Imagine going to get a hot pizza at a vending machine  This is something that you can do in Austin, thanks to Basil Street Pizza. The new pizza option is available in the lobby of the Skyloft apartments near the University of Texas campus and the technology behind this machine is next level! The closest thing we have to a Pizza Vending Machine in Victoria is getting a 'Hot N Ready' from Little Ceasers. Which is very convenient for many of us.

HOW IS IT DONE:

The company makes the pizzas offsite, at that point, they are flash-frozen and stored in the machine until ordered. Pizzas are ready in about three minutes. The oven is located just behind the payment swiper which has. The oven uses three distinct heating elements that make the pizza come out crisp. The technology in this machine will cook different pizzas at different times. The pizza presentation would be very similar to it coming out of a brick-style pizzeria-type oven and uses no microwaves. Basil Street Pizza likes to refer to this as an 'Automated Pizza Kitchen.' Right now this a still a new concept with limited locations around the United States.
