According to the Victoria Police Department, storage unit burglaries in Victoria have risen. Officer John Turner from the Victoria Police Department recently posted a video of safety tips for those who have storage units.

Use a high-quality padlock; the better the lock, the more secure your unit will be.
Maintain a detailed inventory of your storage unit, including serial numbers.
Take pictures of your property regularly.
Check in regularly to make sure nothing is missing.
Let storage management know of any security issues immediately.
