Summer's here and the time is right for dancin' in the street! KIXS 108 is proud to present the Coors Light Silver Bullet Street Dance Summer Concert Series! The first in the series will be in downtown Victoria at deLeon Plaza tonight from 7:30pm to 9:30pm as KIXS 108 welcomes the Texas Rhythm Band!

One of the unique and historic places in South texas is right here in downtown Victoria. I am talking about the beautiful DeLeon Plaza. This space is meant to be used by the citizens of Victoria (and our visitors) and one of the best uses of this public space will occur again this Friday. It's called "Tunes at Noon" and it's a great way to spend your Friday lunch hour.

Cinco de Mayo in Victoria is a huge celebration and a great chance to raise money for local scholarships. This year the entertainment lineup will be second to none as Victoria welcomes Grammy award winner Bob Gallarza.

I love this time of year. There is literally more to do than you can make time for. What a great problem to have. I do suggest, however, you take time to enjoy beautiful downtown Victoria this Thursday evening during 'Downtown Rhythms'.

Come out to DeLeon Plaza for the Main Street Dance tomorrow night as The Rackit of Victoria will be performing their Texas Style music.  The music starts at 7 and usually last until 10.  It is free and open to the public.  Lawn chairs and blankets encouraged...
