Skeeter Welcomes Singer/Songwriter Bobby Marquez

Wednesday morning (February 5, 2014), my in-studio guest will be singer/songwriter, Bobby Marquez. Bobby is a native of Freer, TX, but I met Bobby more than a dozen years ago when I was living in Nashville, TN, where Bobby calls home these days. Bobby will be one of the featured entertainers during the 2014 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, which runs February 6-23. Bobby will join me for some live music in the KIXS 108 studio between 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday, then you can catch Bobby and his band at the Stock Show & Rodeo for 2 shows this Saturday (at 6:00 p.m. & 11:00 p.m.) on the Bud Light Plaza Stage, and again on Sunday, when they'll play an extended show from noon-4:00 p.m. on the Coors Light Stage.

Bobby has had songs hit the Texas Music and Music Row magazines' charts, and has hosted the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree radio broadcast, which follows the Grand Ole Opry every Saturday night over 650 AM WSM/Nashville.
