Legendary Country singer/songwriter/Certified Guitar Picker Steve Wariner is coming to Schroeder Hall on Saturday, April 5th. I have the honor of emceeing the show, and I hope you're planning on being there! This Tuesday (4/1/14), I'll be interviewing Steve on KIXS 108. He has a new album, It Ain't All Bad, released in the Fall of 2013, and is out on the road, playing songs from the new collection, as well as many of his hits from the 1980's and 90's, including some of his fourteen Number One hits, such as, "Some Fools Never Learn," "Life's Highway," "Small Town Girl," "The Weekend," and the 1998 CMA Song of the Year and Single of the Year, "Holes in the Floor of Heaven."

Steve will be calling in to the KIXS studio around 9:30 a.m. Texas Time, and I'm looking forward to speaking with him again! Yes, I said "again," as I was in a band in California back in the mid-80's that opened one of his shows; and later, go to see him again in the mid-90's at a show in Bakersfield. He is known as one of the "nicest guys in Country music," and I can attest to that fact! He really is genuinely nice!

Check out this track from Steve's new album, It Ain't All Bad. The song is called, "Voodoo."
