Victoria is famous for its rich history, thriving downtown, and one of the best parks in Texas.

What a lot of people might not know is that we've got the hottest jalapeno eating contest in the country too! Just in time for CINCO DE MAYO!

This will be Victoria's 2nd Annual Guacamole Festival and, it just keeps getting bigger and better y'all.

Here is the schedule of events...

5:30 VISD Ballet Folklorico

7:30-9 and throughout entertainment gaps on PA (5-9): Townsquare Media playing music by The Box Coffee

With partnerships that include businesses like Santa Rita Market and tons of vendors, you'll get to enjoy special events all evening long!

Special events include an art reception from 6 to 8 pm, Ballet Folklorico from VISD and Grup will be there with incredible performances. Gary Moses will be announcing the winner for Best Guac, and winners of the Triple Dip K-12 Art Show will be announced

And.... you're invited to burn your tongue with the best of them with the Whataburger Jalapeno Eating Contest during our community's very own Cinco De Mayo Celebration known in these parts as Guac Fest.

Downtown Victoria will be the hottest spot in Texas on May 5th from 5 to 9 pm for the second Annual Cinco De Mayo, Guacamole Festival!

Celebrate the season with Townsquare Media, Whataburger, Jupiter Horizons Gallery, Mac Haik and Crossroads Art House along with these great vendors. Live music, fantastic food, Ballet Folklorico and so much more. It's a family event!

Whataburger is back again with their jalapeno eating contest, literally the hottest contest in Texas and it happens right in the middle of our Guac Fest event.
