Victoria's 1st Guacamole Festival was a HUGE Success!

If you're a fan of music, you probably heard our commercial inviting everyone in the Crossroads to "rock out with their guac out!" for Victoria's very first Guacamole Festival, a new and unique way for the Crossroads community to celebrate our rich Hispanic culture on Cinco De Mayo.

We are proud to say it was bigger and better than even we imagined!

Thank you to everyone who came out to this event!

The Guacamole Festival, hosted by Victoria Main Street, Townsquare Media, and Jupiter Horizon Gallery was so popular and so much fun that we will be sure to host it again in the years ahead. From our local Ballet Folklorico dancers performing in the streets to the margaritas flowing from 5D's Traveling Tavern, downtown was THE place to be to celebrate the season and Mexico's freedom!

Shout out to all of the vendors and businesses downtown who opened their doors wide so that the thousands who came downtown had a great time with plenty to eat and drink and oh yes, plenty to shop for too! Downtown is definitely booming and blooming too. If you haven't been downtown in a while, you've got to check and go see the new restaurants, boutiques, and galleries. You will not be disappointed. If fact, you will fall in love with downtown all over again. Proud of all who work so hard to see our community grows!

Thank you to Del Papa Distributing for the delicious beverages and to Whataburger for hosting the hottest contest in town, the jalapeno eating contest!

A quick shout out to our STJ student volunteers and TSM too who took the time to take to the streets and snap these great photos!
