Sarah Harris to Perform in Halletsville

There is certainly no shortage of musical talent in the Crossroads and surrounding area. A young lady from Halletsville is returning home to share her talent this Saturday.

Sarah Harris, the granddaughter of Marlene and Lester Arnold, of Hallettsville, will be performing in concert along with Jacob Adam Garcia at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Englein Haus, 115 N. Main St., in Hallettsville.

Harris, who attends Texas Tech University, has performed with the school's steel band in China and Italy.

She has been selected to attend the Boston Conservatory of Music in the fall while working on her masters degree.

Garcia is the professor of percussion at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi.

The public is invited to meet the musicians at 3 p.m. before the free concert.
