A lighted parade beginning at 7 p.m. Friday night, November 30th, kicks off  the 29th Annual CHRISTMAS IN GOLIAD!   Shops and restaurants will be open for business and all buildings will be displaying their Christmas decorations.  Entertainment will be provided before and after the parade.  Saturday, December 1st at 9 a.m. CHRISTMAS IN GOLIAD begins with the square busy with vendors featuring arts and crafts.  Food and drink booths will be open throughout  the day.  At HIGH NOON kids of all ages enjoy the arrival of SANTA riding a Texas Longhorn.  Bring your cameras as Santa will be available to have pictures taken with the children.

New this year an Ice Skating rink hosted by Main Street.  Skates will be available for rent and the rink will be open Thursday night, Friday and Saturday .  And do not miss the "Best Dressed Dog Contest" hosted by Goliad Pet Adoption on the square at 3 p.m.  Saturday evening Zaragosa and The Presido will host The Los Posadas at the Presido de LaBahia.  The Beeville Community Chorus, hosted by the Mission Espiritu Santos, will perform at the Goliad State Park at 8 p.m.
