Texas Lottery Drawing Featured Rare Number Combination On April F

Wednesday was April Fools' Day, so it was hard to believe anything you saw on social media, including a post stating that the numbers drawn for the Texas Lottery’s Daily 4 draw game had the winning numbers of 7-7-7-7. This is a very rare occurrence for winning numbers, and to people's surprise, it wasn't a joke.

This is the first time quadruple 7's have been drawn in almost 20 years.

In fact, this is the 18th time in the game's history that quadruple numbers have been drawn in Daily 4 history, and this is the first time 7-7-7-7 has ever been drawn since the game started in 2007. Very rare, indeed!

In a press release, Courtney Arbour, the executive director of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversees the Texas Lottery, said it's

not only rare but also unfathomable because of the day it was drawn.

“Drawing four of the same number is a rare and exciting event in our Daily 4 game, but seeing lucky sevens come up on April Fool’s Day made it even more memorable, " Arbour said.
