Rodeo Houston Has a True Texas Feel, So Far…
ANOTHER TEXAS BOY SHOWCASING ON THE BIG STAGE:
So far we only know 4 of the performers for Rodeo Houston, however, I like the trend I am seeing. We recently learned that Parker McCollum will be making his Rodeo Houston debut in 2022. Not only will McCollum make his Rodeo Houston debut, but he will also be showcased on a Saturday night! That is prime time real-estate for a Rodeo performance. Paker will perform on Saturday, March 12. Tickets go on sale in January 2022!
THE TEXAS COUNTRY SOUND WILL BE ON SHOWCASE:
The Limestone Kid, Parker McCollum joins the already announced Rodeo opening concert featuring Cody Johnson and the epic Rodeo finale concert of George Strait! So far Texas Music will be well represented at Rodeo Houston 2022. If you are a fan of all genres, rapper Bun B, a Houston native, will make his 1st rodeo appearance as well!
WHEN WILL THE ENTIRE LINEUP BE RELEASED:
Rodeo Houston will announce their entire Entertainment lineup on January 5th, 2022. Most of us know that Rodeo Houston always gives us a few teasers ahead of time. The teasers this year have me really pumped to see the remainder of the lineup.
While I can't figure out a trend on how they book the Pop, R&B, Rap, and 'Tejano' genres. Here is what my gut is telling me about the remainder of Country artists. I feel these will almost be a given: Luke Combs, Blake Shelton, and Chris Stapleton. I feel that these are a possibility: Old Dominion, Dan+Shay, Luke Bryan, and Morgan Wallen. We will find out on January 5th how close I am. Stay tuned!
