Pick Me! Pick ME!

I am not above shameless self-promotion. After all, if I was an introvert, I picked the wrong career path! But seriously, I need your help to make this bit of shameless self-promotion happen. The Victoria Advocate is gathering votes for their 2014 "Best of the Best Awards." There are a whole bunch of different categories, such as "Best Mexican Restaurant," "Best Dry Cleaning Service," "Best Dog Groomer"...well, you get the idea.

The category I need you to look for is "Best Local Celebrity." Among those listed there, you'll see my name (Skeeter Nash, in case you've forgotten). Like any good politician (that may be an oxymoron), I am asking for your vote. What do I get for it if I win? Heck, I don't know...a trophy? My picture in the Advocate? A free subscription? It doesn't really matter what the prize is to me, I just WANNA WIN!

Now, you might be asking, "Hey, Skeeter! What's in it for ME?" Well, according to the folks at the Advocate, all eligible ballots will be entered in a drawing, and one winner will receive a $50 gift certificate from the "Best Overall Restaurant" winner and four Cinemark movie tickets!
