Hallettsville Enters The Latest State Football Rankings

Victoria West, East, and St. Joseph High School all won during week 2 action this past Friday night.  East and West will kickoff district this week, they will both play 8 district games. St. Joseph hopes to keep build momentum as they inch closer to district play.

CLASS 4A DIVISION II

The Cuero Gobblers made a statement this past Friday night defeating Wimberly 21-3. At the time of the matchup, Cuero was ranked 10th and Wimberly was ranked 3rd. Even though this was a non-district game it made a big change in the State Ranking. Wimberley dropped from #3 to #9 and Cuero jumped up.

CLASS 3A DIVISION I

The Hallettsville Brahmas cracked the top 10 at #7  in 3-A Division-I after defeating the state-ranked Industrial Cobras 27-24 in a non-district matchup.  There are currently 3 area teams in the Top 10 of 3A Division

CLASS 2A DIVISION I

Both the Refugio Bobcats and Shiner Commanches won easily during week 2 action. The Bobcats defeated George West 55-8 and Shiner beat Blanco 41-7. The top of the 2A Division Rankings remains unchanged.
