The Goliad County Fair and Rodeo kicked off yesterday at the Goliad County Fairgrounds. Of course there will be a carnival, all kinds of animals, good food, drink, PRCA Rodeo, and awesome music.Today the carnival begins at 5 followed by the PRCA Rodeo at 7:30, The Scott Taylor Band will then be performing at the Goliad Memorial Auditorium from 8:30 to 12:30. The armbands are $15 at the carnival.

Saturday The Parade will take place downtown Goliad at 10:30 a.m. At Noon there will be a washer tournament and entertainment in the barbecue area so you can send your kids to the carnival at noon then go and have some fun. The PRCA Rodeo will take place once again at 7:30 Saturday night. Following the rodeo will be one of Texas Country's Best, Jarrod Birmingham. He will be playing at 9 and I would get there early as his shows always pack up extremely quick. Be there before full capacity.

Sunday the fun continues for the last day as the Carnival opens at 1p.m. and PRCA Rodeo at 2p.m. Once again if you plan on going to see the Scott Taylor Band on Friday or Jarrod Birmingham on Saturday I would get there early. Have fun this year at the Goliad County Fair and Rodeo!
