There comes a time in a persons life where they want to mix things up a little bit.  Some buy a new car, try a new sport, get a new girlfriend or boyfriend.  Most of the time it depends on what you do for a living, how much money your working with to start a new activity, how much time you have to spare, I'm pretty sure you get the point.

I think it's getting more popular now with country music sounding a little "popish" the past few years.  Some songs and artists are really good, some just don't belong.  Darius Rucker made a pretty good transition into country music in my opinion.  Jewel has had a few hits.  I'm still not quite sure if Taylor Swift wants to be pop or country.

Some of the best and worst entertainment comes from when an artist ventures off to another genre of music.  Or even when an athlete tries a different sport.   Michael Jordon made a mistake playing baseball for the Chicago White Sox.  This isn't about an athlete though, it's about Garth Brooks.  Yea good 'ole Garth.  Last year I was unfortunately introduced to a music video which features Garth in a whole different style of music.  I'm not sure what I would call it.

Back in 1999, Garth met with his production company and came out with a movie called The Lamb. He made a whole soundtrack for the movie called Garth Brooks...The Life Of Chris Gaines. The movie didn't do so well and album sales were less than expected.  I know your thinking to yourself that "oh it's Garth Brooks, it can't be that bad", well I will let you judge for yourself.

WARNING.  The video you are about to watch contains a man who has completely lost his mind.  The country singer you know as Garth Brooks is featured in this video and does not appear to be wearing a cowboy hat or boots.  In fact he actually has hair, really weird looking hair. I'm also pretty sure multiple layers of makeup have been applied as well.  Sorry. To watch the music video for one of his songs called "Lost In You" click here

Ok so now that you have watched it, you have to admit it's pretty funny.  I don't really mean to be disrespectful towards Garth, I just find it an epic fail when it comes to trying new genres of music.  I do admit though that he is risky to come out with such a character.  As well as at least trying new things.  If you have ever been to a Garth Brooks concert has he ever came out with any songs from that album? Also what do you think of Garth Brooks as Chris Gaines?
