Chesney #1 On Country Albums Chart

Kenny Chesney is at the top of the charts this week, with his album Welcome To The Fishbowl debuting at #1 on the Billboard’s Country Albums chart. The album also sits at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, selling over 193,000 copies in its first week. Kenny says he put his heart and soul into the project... Kenny told CMT Daily Roundup, “Bein’ in that driver’s seat to, you know, try to reach inside somebody’s heart live is a great seat to be in. And to figure out which songs of these that you think is gonna do it the most is a balancing act when you’re recording your record and when you’re done with it.” Kenny will join pop star Katy Perry for Macy’s Annual 4^th of July Celebration next week at 9PM Eastern on NBC. The superstar is set to perform in New York before 45,000 fireworks light up the sky in honor of Independence Day.
