Another weekend come, and another weekend coming to an end...don't you just hate Mondays? Just because the weekend is almost over, doesn't mean that you still can't have fun. There is so much to do and enjoy. For example, some At Home Bartendering wouldn't be such a bad idea (unless you're not 21 and older).

Green Drink

The Lamborn (original source)
2 oz Mount Gay Silver Rum
2 oz Snap Pea Juice
1 oz Lime Juice
½ oz Jasmine Syrup
Garnish – Peas Shoots, Flower (Preferably a Jasmine flower)
How To:
Combine the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake well, then strain into a tall glass with ice. Finally, garnish with pea shoots and flower.

Espresso Martini

2 oz Vodka (Preferably Grey Goose)
½ oz Simple Syrup
½ oz Coffee Liqueur
1 oz Freshly Brewed Espresso
Garnish – Coffee Beans
How To:
Combine ingredients into a shaker with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a few coffee beans.


Brown Derby (original source)
1 ½ oz Bourbon
1 oz Grapefruit Juice
½ oz Honey Syrup
Garnish – Grapefruit Twist
How To:
Combine ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake well. Next, strain the concoction into a glass and garnish with a grapefruit twist.


Suffering Bastard (original source)
1 oz Bourbon
1 oz Gin
1 oz Lime Juice (fresh)
1 dash (1/8 tsp) Angostura Bitters
4 oz Chilled Ginger Ale
Garnish – Sprig of Mint or Orange Slice
How To:
Combine ingredients (minus the ginger ale) into a glass with ice and stir, and then top off with the ginger ale. Finally, garnish the concoction with either a sprig of mint or an orange slice.

Bloody Hell

2 oz Blood Orange Juice
1 ½ oz Bourbon
1 tbs Agave
1 Jalapeño (Sliced)
2 oz IPA Beer
How To:
In a shaker with ice, combine the juice, bourbon, agave and sliced jalapeño and then shake well. Then strain the mixture into a tall glass and add the beer, and then stir.


Gladiator Shot (original source)
½ oz Amaretto
½ oz Southern Comfort
2 oz 7-Up
2 oz Orange Juice
How To:
First pour the Amaretto and Southern Comfort into a shot glass. Then add the 7-Up and Orange into a larger glass. Now, drop the shot glass into the other glass and…Down The Hatch.

All, if not most, of these drink ingredients can be found at your local liquor store.
