Summertime is almost over, and so there wont' be many chances left to enjoy some fantastic summertime drinks. Here are a few that may just keep the summer fire burning bright as you prepare for the fall fun.

Piña Colada Sangria

How To:
Begin by getting a blender and adding the pineapple juice, rum, coconut milk, blue curacao, frozen pineapple and ice (and keep extra ice on standby in case more is needed for blending) and blender until smooth. Pour the mixture into a tall glass and garnish with the cherries, pineapples and DO NOT FORGET the paper umbrella(s).

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shooter (original source)
¼ c Chocolate chips (melted)
3 oz Strawberry Milk
3 oz White Chocolate Liqueur
1 oz Vodka
Garnish – Small Strawberries
How To:
First, you’ll want to rim your glass with the melted chocolate. In a shaker with ice, add the milk, liqueur and vodka then shake well until cold. After that you’re going to need to pour the concoction into the glass and garnish with a small strawberry.

Milk Can

Giant’s Milk (Game of Thrones) (original source)
1½ c Hennessey
1½ c Fireball
1½  c Goldschläger
1½ c White Chocolate Liqueur
1½ c RumChata
1½ c Bailey’s Irish Cream
2-3 Clear Ice Cubes/Chunks
How To:
First off, you might be thinking, “Sweet Mary! That’s a lot of alcohol and nothing else.” And you may be right. That aside, combine all the ingredients into a large jar (with a seal-able airtight lid) then close the top and shake to mix it up. Now, since this is a lot of alcohol, I strongly (STRONGLY) recommend you share it or spread it out over the week…or month…or season.

All, if not most, of these drink ingredients can be found at your local liquor store. Keep in mind that the summer heat is unforgiving and you need to make sure to drink plenty of water to keep hydrated and cool. Townsquare Media and KIXS 108 do not condone underage drinking and encourage you to drink responsibly. Have a safe and fun weekend!
