Big Win For the Lady Flyers

Last night the Lady Flyers Basketball team had a big time win over Incarnate Word Academy with the final score of 62-47.  This was a big win for two reason fist of all this was Coach Carrie Myers 250th win for the Lady Flyers.  This was also the last varsity game played in the STJ Gymnasium.  With this win the Lady Flyers are district champs and undefeated in district.    The boys team also won last night with a score 61-57 in overtime.  What a great way to close out the gym This gym has been in use since 1983 and will be reconstructed as the new David Pozzi Fine Arts Center .  The next varsity home games will be in the NEW Tom O'Connor, Jr. Athletic Center on The Myra and Clayton Johnson Family Gymnasium court on Friday February 12, 2016.  Go check out the new gym and GO BIG BLUE!
