Sears Employee Wears Boots He Stole From Store To Work

The Herald-Tribune reports the unidentified 18-year-old man stole a pair of boots from the store in the DeSoto Square Mall – and then wore them to work.
Police say the surveillance cameras caught the suspect swiping the footwear. Stealing the boots must have really made him feel invincible because a store supervisor said cameras also showed him wearing them while at work.
It’s unclear if the employee, who had a gun in his shoe when searched by police, has been fired. He has reportedly confessed to stealing two pairs of boots from the Sears in question. He faces charges of retail theft and carrying a concealed weapon.
