Miranda Lambert Is Full Of Surprises

You might be surprised how many country artists have musical projects "on the side". Even when I was playing live music all over the country with Joel Nava, we always had something else going on weeknights. (Does anyone remember "Sox For The Fish or A Little On The Side?... I didn't think so...) It seems the tradition continues. Even Miranda Lambert has an extra project going on.

Miranda Lambert had a special treat for her fans in Lexington, Kentucky on Monday (2/27) – the Pistol Annies. She told the crowd, “Surprise Kentucky” as Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley joined Miranda on stage. The group sang their hit “Hell On Heels,” which marked the girls’ first performance together since December.
