Video: Dogs “Walk” Humans, Adoptions Rise

We've all seen ads for animal shelters and the Humane Society featuring sad faces of animals looking for their "furever" home. Yes, they can tug at your heart, and are quite often very effective. However, after you see them over and over, they can lose their emotional impact. With this in mind, an Australian animal shelter came up with a unique program in which the dogs do the "rescuing" of humans. Check out the video to see how this shift in perspective saved some 5,000 dogs.

Remember: there are thousands of shelter animals in need of loving homes. Adopt a shelter pet...it's the kind of love that money can't buy!
