The Museum of the Coastal Bend has a new exhibit on display at Victoria City Hall called "Can You Dig It? Archaeology in the Coastal Bend."

The exhibit will help to teach visitors about the different methods used by the Archaeological Logistics Team to examine artifacts. Tools, artifacts, and photos explain the process and analysis. In the photos below, you can see the Museum of the Coastal Bend employees filling a display case with the exhibit at City Hall.

Victoria City Manager Jesus Garza said, “We’re excited to be able to partner with the Museum of the Coastal Bend for this exhibit. The display gives visitors to City Hall a chance to learn about the steps being taken to preserve our region’s rich history.”

The exhibit will be on display for the next calendar year. City Hall is open to the public from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Occupancy limits apply with no more than 9 people entering at one time. Facial coverings or masks are required. City Hall will have a hand sanitizer station available for visitors. Enjoy!
