One thing is for sure, a lot of us miss live music, for me, live music is a way of life. We have missed some big-time shows at Schroeder Hall due to the pandemic like Parker McCollum, Aaron Watson, and Asleep at the Wheel, just to name a few We also missed a huge Fourth of July celebration that was set for Independence Day.

Well here is some good news!  Schroeder Hall is opening its doors in September and has announced a new show to kick things off!

Roger Creager is coming to the second oldest dance hall in Texas on Friday, September 4th.  Tickets are on sale now, get them now!

Also coming to Schroeder Hall is Texas Country Artist John Wolfe with Clay Hollins on Friday, September 18th.

To add to that, we will get that firework show that will feature 3000 fireworks going off in about 12 minutes. There will also be games for the kids, food trucks, vendors, and face painting. The date will be released in the near future.

The live shows at Schroeder Hall are about to get bigger and better!   We saw that start in March with a sold-out show with Midland before the COIVD-19 pandemic! Keep your radio's and apps tuned to KIXS 108 for exclusive show announcements.

You can also catch some great Texas Country acts at Brewsters in Corpus Christ.

The shows at Brewster's are ENFORCING social distancing.

At Brewster's this weekend:

Friday Night 8/21: Stoney LaRue (early and late show)

Saturday Night 8/22: Aaron Watson (early and late show)
