Audrey Hanes is our athlete AND scholar of the week and this senior at St. Joseph High School deserves some serious cheers!

As a varsity cheerleader, Audrey dedicates time before and after school to not just her athleticism, but school spirit too. Varsity cheerleaders have dedicated years to their craft in tumbling, strength and endurance.

As a varsity cheer in South Texas, you know Audrey has endured some serious hot temperatures on the field too!

Not just a leader on the field 'amping up the crowd; and supporting her Flyers teams, she is also a team leader off the field as a member of the prestigious, Chick Fil A Leadership Academy.

Audrey is not just an athlete, but a member of the National Honor Society balancing her grades and dual credit classes. Not an easy task, but in just a few weeks she will walk the stage as a STJ graduate!

Congratulations Audrey! You are a rock star girl!

After graduation, Audrey will study Nutrition and Allied Health at Blinn, then transfer to A&M.

Gig em' sweet girl and congratulations on all of your accomplishments and the future ahead of you!
