Congrats to Kohl Powell Our Athlete AND Scholar of the Week

Monday has become our favorite day of the week now that Victory Auto Group highlights a new athlete or scholar of the week.

Our chance to highlight some seriously dedicated and awesome students who are just rocking it, just like Industrial High School student Kohl Powell, Victory Auto Group's Athlete of the Week!

Kohl has a whole list of athletic and scholarly activities that he excels in including football, powerlifting and Student Council.

But of course, that's just the beginning!

Kohl finds the time to also participate in Fellowship of Christian Students as well as being a member of the National Honor Society too.

Wait, there is more!

Told you! This young man is a rock star! 

Kohl also participates in track, UIL Academics and FFA!

His accolades include being a 3 time all district center in football, 1st teal Academic All State and the football team captain. In powerlifting he excels as a 4 time regional qualifier, regional medalist, state medalist AND regional record holder as well as also being the team captain for powerlifting too! He finds time to also participate in Varsity track too!

In UIL academics, he is a 2 time district medalist and regional qualifier in Number Sense and Mathematics.

We call that BRAIN and BRAWN! 

Which is why Kohl now has a $50 gift certificate in his pocket to spend how he pleases and an opportunity to win one of two $1250.00 scholarships as Victory Auto Groups Athlete AND scholar of the week.

Kohl, we just have to say, way to go kiddo! You are one impressive young man. Your hard work and dedication will take you far in life and we can't wait to hear what you do as an adult!
