Sand Crab Ella Vazquez Is Our Athlete AND Scholar of the Week

Shouting out to the San Crabs especially now that Ella Vazquez, a student of Calhoun High School, is our official Athlete AND Scholar of the Week!

On behalf of Victory Auto Group and Townsquare Media, we say congratulations to this AWESOME young lady!

Ella is on two varsity Sand Crabs teams as a soccer and tennis player but she is also in the stands and on the field as a band member as well!

But wait there is so much more! When she isn't on the field or on the court she in a part of the future leaders in Texas as a student council member. She is a part of the prestigious group of students in the National Honor Society as well.

She gives her absolute best which is why she the band president, and captain of the soccer team! She is the VP of Student Council and the Party Organizer for the Anchor Club for which she is also a member.

Ella also achieved District MVP for tennis, achieved outstanding student and athlete of the month for Calhoun Sandies Athletics.

She won third place in district girls singles for tennis and division 2 soccer nominee.

One of the biggest accolades you can give a student is recognizing the balance of time and attention they have to pay in order to be successful. Ella is a perfect example of a hard working young lady who does her very best wherever she is!

Victory Auto Group has given Ella a $50 gift certificate and is now on the list to win one of two $1250.00 scholarships.

Ella you are truly awesome! We see you and all of your hard work! You go girl!
