The City of Victoria Becomes Festive for Halloween
I love getting into the spirit of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and especially Christmas. So, I think it's cool that the City of Victoria hosted its first pumpkin decorating contest during the month of October. This contest was open to city departments. Just a fun competition with creative designs that ranged from spooky to silly. Check out the photos from our winners listed below.
Don't forget that the lighted Christmas parade will be held on Saturday, December 5th. This year's parade will have a different look due to COVID-19 restrictions. It is going to be a reverse parade. What does that mean? A reverse parade means that you get to drive through the line of floats. Enjoy the Christmas magic from the comfort of your own vehicle. The parade kicks-off at 6 PM. The night will finish off with a Firework Show that will be choreographed to a musical show. Fireworks start at 9 PM>
