
HEB Dispatches Disaster Relief Convoy to Kerrville Almost Immediately
Over the weekend, massive amounts of rain led to horrific flooding in Kerrville and surrounding areas. The death toll continues to rise, as the 27 individuals from Camp Mystic who were previously missing have since been pronounced dead, increasing the number of deaths to more than 80. Search and rescue and disaster relief teams have deployed to Kerrville to assist residents impacted by the tragic flood. First responders and volunteers have responded to the area from across the nation and throughout Texas, including businesses like H-E-B, which dispatched its mobile disaster relief truck and kitchen.
H-E-B arrived in Kerrville on Saturday, July 5.
The devastating flood struck Kerrville in the early hours of Friday, July 4. By Saturday, July 5, H-E-B had already dispatched its mobile disaster relief truck and mobile kitchen. Many videos went viral showing the convoy en route to the Kerrville area. Some of the posts on social media called H-E-B, "our FEMA in Texas."
The H-E-B convoy was spotted enroute to help Kerrville.

This is one of many reasons Texans are so proud of having H-E-B in our state.
