Do you ever wish it would snow in South Texas? It snows so seldom down here that, when it does, it's an EVENT! Well, guess what... snow is in the forecast at the Brackenridge Main Event Center on January 17, 2015! The 5th Annual Brackenridge Winter Carnival and Snow Day is an event that visitors as well as LNRA employees and volunteers love!  It is great fun for kids of all ages....from toddlers to adults! Nothing but smiles on the faces that day!  Over 59,000 pounds of snow will fall in the commons area of the Brackenridge Main Event Center.  That means GIANT slides, BIG play areas and more FUN!!  The GIANT snow slide is 8 foot tall and about 30 foot long!  The smaller slide is 5 foot tall and about 20 foot long…..great for the younger crowd! Kids of all ages can slide down the giant snow slides, build a snowman or even make a snow angel.  Bring your appetite too as there will be plenty of good food to eat.
