The competition was pretty fierce in this category. These were the 5 nominations in this category: Schroeder Hall, Freiheit County Store, The Rustic, Billy Bob's Texas, and the Dosey Doe. How many of these halls have you been to?

SO MUCH HISTORY:

It's like you can feel the history every time you walk into Schroeder Hall.  From all the memorabilia near the bar area from the early days to the backstage wall of autographs of all the performers to grace the Schroeder Stage.  So it's no wonder that Schroeder won Live Music Venue of the year.

THE WALL OF AUTOGRAPHS:

If you have never been backstage at the Second Oldest Dancehall, you have never seen the amount of musical history on those walls.  Including the spot where Charlie Robison bumped his head on the low ceiling on his way to take the Schroeder Stage. Here is a snapshot of some new guy's autograph back in 2011. Maybe you have heard of Cody Johnson?  If only these walls could talk?
