Powerball mania continues, and rightfully so!  Powerball jackpot has now reached an estimated $1.5 billion for Saturday night's drawing (12/20/25). This is the fifth-largest Powerball jackpot of all time, and the cash option will be valued at $686.5 million.

Eight people won at least $1 million during this drawing.

Even though nobody matched all of the numbers to win the jackpot on Saturday night, six people won $1 million, and two people won $2 million. None of these winners were in Texas.

The drawing also produced 72 tickets that won $50,000 prizes and 14 tickets that won $200,000 prizes. Saturday’s Powerball drawing will be the 45th in the current jackpot run. This makes this a game record for the most drawings in a jackpot cycle.
@todayshowNo tickets matched all six numbers for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, so the jackpot is now up to $1.5 billion which is the fifth largest in history. The next drawing is set to take place on Saturday.♬ original sound - TODAY Show
