School is almost back in session! Here are a few of the important dates for the upcoming school year. The first day of school for the Victoria Independent School District is on Wednesday, August 12.

Here is a list of days off and vacations scheduled for the 26/27 school year.

September 7: Labor Day - Student/Staff Holiday
October 9: Student Holiday/Staff PD & Work Day
October 12: Columbus Day - Student/Staff Holiday
November 11: Veterans Day - Student/Staff Holiday
November 23-27: Thanksgiving Break
December 18: Student Holiday/Staff PD Work Day
December 21 - Jan 1: Winter Break
January 4: Staff PD/Work Day
January 5: Students Return to School
January 18: Martin Luther King Jr Day - Student/Staff Holiday
February 15: Presidents' Day - Student/Staff Holiday
March 12: Student Holiday-Staff PD & Work Day
March 15-19: Spring Break
March 26 & 29: Easter - Student/Staff Holiday
May 3: Student/Staff Holiday
May 27: Last Day of School for Students

If your child will be using school transportation. Ensure your child is at the bus stop five minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up, as pick-up times can fluctuate due to traffic and other events. For more detailed bus route information, please click here.

A sneak peek for our elementary students will take place on Monday, August 10 from 4:30 - 6 p.m. at your home campus.

6th grade and new student orientation is on Monday, August 10 from 3 - 4 p.m. at your home campus.
