Join KIXS 108 In Aid For Panhandle Wildlife: Donate Supplies Now!
KIXS 108 invites you to help the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, 4H, and Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association with the Panhandle Wildlife Relief Supply Collection March 5th through 7th at Otto's Coastal Hay 276 Old Goliad Road in Victoria.
The wildfires have severely impacted ranching in the Panhandle. Millions of grazing acres have been cleared of vegetation and fencing, and the surviving livestock are injured and left without areas to graze. Livestock Feed, Fencing, and Medical supplies are in urgent need.
Your help is needed, and here is the list of agricultural supplies required.
Fencing Supplies: T-Posts and T-Post Drivers, Barbed Wire/Multi-Post Wire, Fence Clips, Panels.
Livestock Feed: Including Alfalfa Cubes and Pellets, Cattle Cubes, Calf Starter, Calf Milk Replacer, All Stock Feed, and Horse Feed.
If you want to help, you can drop off any supplies at Otto's Coastal Hay, 276 Old Goliad Road, Victoria, between 8 am and 5 pm until Thursday, March 7th
KIXS 108 will be there for donations on Wednesday morning, March 6th, from 7 am to 9 am. But, you can donate all the way through through Thursday March 7th at 5pm. The trucks will leave Victoria on Thursday afternoon. If you can't make it out, you can call 361-575-4745, buy some items, and donate by credit card.
The devastation is massive all over the upper Texas Panhandle, and there is a great need. You can help many ranchers, and the livestock in the Panhandle. KIXS 108 the Crossroads #1 in New Country is Texas Proud, and we ask you to help with this great cause!
